Overview

Makers can receive messages from chat platforms, invoke Agents to handle issues, and return results to the original conversation. This series uses the same Makers Agent for IM template to introduce the workflow from creating an IM application and configuring credentials to completing bidirectional conversations.
Note: The integration direction of this series is IM Platform → Makers → IM Platform. The IM platform webhook callback receives user messages, and the IM platform message sending API returns results.

Overall Architecture

Prerequisites

1. You have signed up for and activated Makers, and can now create projects and deploy cloud functions and Agents.
2. You already have the account, organization, and app management permissions on the corresponding IM platform. If you are starting from scratch, sign up for an account and create an organization on the platform's official website first.
3. Requirements such as enterprise verification and administrator approval are determined by the corresponding platform.
4. A custom domain is required. After the temporary access link of Maker expires, IM cannot notify the service deployed by Makers.
