EdgeOne Pages Now Generally Available: Faster, Safer, More Reliable

Since the launch of EdgeOne Pages Beta one year ago, we have received a great deal of feedback from developers and continuously iterated through dozens of versions. Today, we are excited to announce that EdgeOne Pages is now generally available.
This update focuses on the core concerns developers care about most: infrastructure performance, security capabilities, and observability. Here are the details of this update:
Infrastructure Upgrades
The general availability release includes a comprehensive upgrade to the underlying CDN network, with new intelligent network scheduling, link optimization, and advanced configuration capabilities, delivering lower access latency and higher service stability. No matter where your users are, they will enjoy a faster loading experience.
Enhanced Security
The general availability release introduces a new security module, providing comprehensive security capabilities for your site:
- Default Protection: Automatically enables basic protection to effectively defend against DDoS attacks and common network threats
- Custom Rules: Supports IP allowlist/blocklist, Referer blocklist, UA allowlist/blocklist, geo-based access restrictions, and more
- Rate Limiting: Effectively defends against malicious requests and CC attacks, with support for custom rules for more precise rate limiting

Improved Observability
A new metrics analysis module has been added, allowing you to view detailed statistics including traffic, request count, peak bandwidth, protection events, and function invocations.
You can filter and query by domain, time, and environment (production or preview) to gain full visibility into your site's operational status.
About Versions
The general availability release upgrades the original Beta version to a free tier, which remains valid long-term. We provide clear quota and usage limit information, making it easy for you to understand and plan your usage. We will also introduce versions with higher quotas in the future, so stay tuned.
